A roofing contractor is any individual or business operating in Rhode Island that performs commercial or industrial roofing work, or both. This does not include work on residential buildings with four or fewer dwelling units. Roofing refers to any construction, renovation, or related activity involving the roof of a nonresidential building. This includes tasks such as:

•    Sheet-metal work
•    Other similar services
