Project Management Professional Overview

In order to become certified as a project management professional, individuals are required to complete 7,500 hours leading and directing projects, or a four year degree and 4,500 hours, in addition to completing the PMP education component and exam.

Course Overview

The Project Management Professional course assists students in preparation for the PMP® exam. This self-paced online course provides students with the terminology, tools, and techniques that are required to take a project from the initiating process to planning, executing, controlling, and closing. Students will be expected to have an understanding of project management, process management, project management knowledge areas, and process groups, as this course will provide a high-level overview of these concepts.
