About This License

If you do work on residenital HVAC systems, refrigeration, piping, and plumbing in a city, county, or state that accepts the International Code Council, that jurisdiction will require you to take and pass a Code Council examination that is based on the International Codes.

Prior to scheduling a test, you should first consult with your local or state licensing agency to determine which examination you should take. Some agencies may also require you to meet certain prequalification criteria prior to testing.
