oregon-prelicensing

In the state of Oregon, anyone who receives compensation for construction activity involving improvements needs to be licensed. Individuals seeking to become a general contractor in the state of Oregon, must be licensed and must register with the Oregon Construction Contractors Board (CCB).  The first step in this process is to complete 16 hours of pre-licensing and then pass the corresponding test with PSI. Following completion of this test, contractors will also be required to complete an application, as well as file a business name, CCB surety bond and provide proof of insurance. For more information, please visit the CCB website.
