About This License
A person qualified to install any wood products in or on a building including, but not limited to, rough framing, trusses, sheathing, doors, windows, and finished carpentry.
Requirements to Obtaining Your License

Applying For Your License
Application fee is $180. Apply through the The city of Evansville’s Building Commission.
Exam Details
- Contact Ivy Tech at (812) 429-1418 to schedule and pay required fee for the test.
- 50 questions
- 2 hours
- 70% required to pass
- Topics include rough, manufactured trusses, sheathing, finish, stairs, light weight framing, structural framing, and safety.
