Continuing Education

Tennessee Residential Contractors are required to complete 8 hours of Board-approved Residential Continuing Education (RCE), if they were licensed after January 1, 2009, with a Residential (BC-A, BC-A/r, or BC-A,b(sm)) as part of their license classification. The licensee shall obtain eight (8) hours of Board-approved Residential Continuing Education (RCE) in the residential construction industry during the two (2) year period prior to the expiration of such license. This is a prerequisite to renew starting with licenses expiring on January 1, 2022.
