Construction Exam Prep Insulation Contractor

Hello! This license covers the installation all types of insulation materials commonly used, including spray-on, roll/batt, blown or loose-fill, rigid-board or reflective, ventilation, and vapor barriers and retarders as well as others.

• Pre-approval from the state is required before testing.
• Alabama Business and Law exam is also required.
• Applicants must document at least 3 projects and 3 years of experience in the insulation trade.
• A minimum net worth of $10,000. There are also working capital requirements. Bid limits depend on financial status

$300 application fee plus a $100 fee that is donated to construction education.

• The Alabama Insulation exam consists of 50 questions and has a time limit of 120 minutes.
• The examination is OPEN book.
• A score of 70% is required to pass.

We offer review for the Alabama Insulation Contractor Exam through an online course format. The program takes you through each one of the reference books that the exam is based on showing you exactly what to highlight. After your highlighting is completed with each book, you have the option to take an online practice test to reinforce concepts presented. The program is narrated.
