We offer highlighting guides to draw attention to key points throughout the book and tabs (sold separately) to allow you to find key sections quickly. We encourage you to take the practice exams multiple times as the questions on the test change each time. Pre-approval from the state is required before testing. Alabama Business and Law exam is also required. Applicants must document at least 3 projects and 3 years of experience in the insulation trade, and a minimum net worth of $10,000. Topics include General Knowledge and Theory, Safety and Employee Protection, Insulation Applications, Plan Reading, Materials, Estimating, TakeOffs, Spray-On Application, Batt/Roll Insulation, Blown or Loose-Fill Insulation (Includes DensePacking), Rigid-Board and Reflective Insulation, Ventilation, and Vapor Barriers/Retarders.  The course takes you through each one of the reference books on which the exam is based.  After your highlighting is completed with each book, you have the option to take an online practice test to reinforce concepts presented. @HomePrep is a National Leader in online education.
