In Clark County, Nevada, electrical license holders must complete continuing education (CEU) hours to renew their license every three years:
- Journeyman, Residential, Sign, or Low Voltage Technician: 1.8 CEUs (18 hours of instruction)
- Master: 3.0 CEUs (30 hours of instruction)
CEU hours must include:
- At least 0.8 CEUs on code changes
- At least 0.4 CEUs on NFPA 70E, Electrical Safety
- All CE hours on current code or safety
Licenses expire three years after the date the licensing exam was passed.
