Requirements to Fulfill Iowa Cosmetology Continuing Education (6 Hours)

Starting February 7th, 2018, the Iowa Board of Cosmetology Arts & Sciences requires every license must complete 6 hours every 2 years license cycle. A minimum of 2 hours of the 6 hours shall be in the prescribed practice discipline and a minimum of 2 hours of the 6 hours shall be in the content areas of Iowa cosmetology law and rules and sanitation.
