How Do I Get My Virginia Residential Building Contractors License?

- Pass the exam.
- Submit your application, licensing fee and proof of insurance.
Requirements To Get A License
- You must also obtain a Contractor’s Class A, B, or C License
- Pass the Residential Building exam (pre-approval is required)
- Pass all three required exams (Virginia, General, & Advanced)
