Requirements to Fulfill Wisconsin Auctioneer Continuing Education (12 Hours)
To renew their license in Wisconsin, auctioneers must complete 12 hours of continuing education every two years:
- Topics: 3 hours must cover Wisconsin laws related to auctioneer ethics and professional conduct, and 9 hours must cover topics relevant to auctioneering
- Approved schools: Education must be obtained from an approved school and include a passing exam with a score of 70%
- Renewal date: Licenses must be renewed by December 14th of every even numbered year
Auctioneers who were initially registered less than 6 months before their first renewal do not need to complete continuing education.
