Any Person or Entity who contracts, engages in, offers to engage in, or conveys the impression that he or she is certified in plumbing is required to hold a certification as a Master Plumber.

Topics Include:

Administration, Definitions, General Regulations, Fixtures, Water Heaters, Water Supply, Sanitary Drainage, Indirect Waste, Vents, Traps and Interceptors, Cleanouts and Storm Drainage.

The Alabama Plumbing Exam Prep covers the 2006-2021 International Plumbing Code. Effective January 1, 2023, applicants for examination will be tested on the 2021 International Plumbing Code. Topics include plumbing fixtures and terminology, plumbing fundamentals, traps, cleanouts, interceptors, drainage requirements, vent requirements, water distribution, plan and analysis.
