Florida Mechanical Contractor License

A mechanical contractor is authorized to install, maintain, repair, fabricate, alter, extend, or (where allowed) design HVAC/refrigeration/heating/ventilation systems, including ductwork, boilers, pressure vessels, lift stations, and related equipment. This also includes certain process/pressure and fuel/gas piping within buildings, limited low-voltage HVAC controls and load-side disconnect wiring, condensate drains, and incidental excavation. It does not include potable water, sanitary sewer, swimming pool piping/filters, or electrical power wiring.

You will need to submit to background checks, form a legal entity, obtain all required insurance, and obtain a bond (if necessary).
