One of the great benefits of online courses is that you can take them anytime and virtually anywhere. As long as you have internet access, you can access your course materials. That being said, here are a few tips to help you get the most out of your online course:
  • First, as we mentioned earlier, the Florida Contractor exam is an open book exam. The best part of that is that you don’t have to worry quite as much about memorizing a lot of facts. It will be more important to have the right reference books for your exam. Having the books highlighted and marked with tabs to help you quickly find the answers you need when taking your exam.
  • Second, try to find a quiet place to study or use headphones to create your own environment where you can focus on the material. Distractions are unavoidable, but many of our students have told us that they performed the best after being in a focused study environment.
  • Third, commit to a regular study schedule. A regular routine will make it easier to keep up a steady pace and get through everything before your exam.
  • On the day of your exam, be sure you show up well rested with your marked books in hand.
