Massachusetts Construction
Per the state of Massachusetts, general contractors must be licensed and registered. Additional requirements are proof of three years of experience in building construction or design, and you must pass a state exam. Contractors who build new homes or work on commercial buildings only are exempt.Massachusetts CSL License Types
Massachusetts Construction Supervisor Contractor licensing types include:- Unrestricted CSL – This license is for construction, reconstruction, alteration, repair, removal, or demolition on projects up to 35,000 square feet.
- Restricted CSL – This license is for construction, reconstruction, alteration, repair, removal, or demolition on one or two-family homes.
